Anh Nguyen is a choreographer, composer and teacher. He has worked with many dance companies, including Dancetheatre David Earle, the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble (Philadelphia), and the Detroit Dance Collective; with symphony orchestras and opera companies, such as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Michigan Opera Theater; and has taught extensively in the US and Canada- at CADA/BC, American Ballet Theater, Western Michigan University, and the Detroit Institute of the Arts. The Globe & Mail wrote: “Nguyen’s complex, energetic crisscross diagonals and clean, economical, athletic movements are as elegant as they are refreshing.” The Courier-Journal describes his choreography as “pure pleasure”.
